Did you know that nearly 1 in 4 active duty members showed signs of a mental health condition? Some of these conditions have also lead to a high rate of suicide in the Veteran community. At NAMI San Fernando Valley we feel that one Veteran suicide is one to many. That is why we need your vote for our grant proposal to help fund a new program we are hoping to bring to LA County, NAMI Homefront.
Our organization is in the running for a $100,000 grant from the LA2050 / Goldhirsh Foundationthat will help us establish a program to help address the unique needs of family, caregivers and friends of Veterans and those who are currently serving our country.
Here is how you can vote in 5 simple steps:
